We have successfully moved to our temporary housing, and are set to close on a house in about a month if all goes well!
After a week of no internet, and a week before that of crazy packing and moving, we once again have high speed!
Must get back to sewing!
‘I, Amy Jo of http://www.BlueHippoArts.com, sign up as a participant of Me-Made-June ’11. I endeavour to wear something I’ve made or refashioned each day for the duration of June 2011’
Ok, I failed miserably at Me Made March. So I’m going to give it another go, this will certainly be challenging since I will likely be moving at least once in June, and hopefully twice! (Yes TWICE! Crossing our fingers on a house that we are IN LOVE with!) But this time around I have two pants options that I have refashioned (using the term loosely) so that should make it eaiser!

I’ve just traced off the main pieces of a Burda pants pattern!
So far so good. The hardest part is wrangling yards of fabric, giant carbon paper, and a giant piece of paper with the 4 different patterns all overlapping on it. I think I’m getting the hang of that though.
I’m making a lovely orange muslin of wide leg trouser pants. Pictures & progress will hopefully follow!
Why is it that it’s never around when you need it?
I have a boat load of sewing to get done between now and tomorrow evening at 6. Have I sewn anything at all since I got done with school on Saturday evening? Nope!
I organized my sewing area though! That’s something.
Since I haven’t accomplished much, I thought I’d show you what I’m working on. In the off chance any of the recipients are reading this, I’ll have to be vague. 🙂

There are more presents that need to be made. But they either aren’t photographed or can’t be put online just yet.
Here’s hoping my mojo returns!
